Our Lady of Guadalupe
This was a challenging model as the original is a 15th Century painting. As such it is always interesting to decide how you can interpret different parts of the image in 3D. The patterns on the robes and in the background were particularly tricky as they are so ornate. the finished model though came out very well and this is available for purchase on the Vector Art 3D website.

Chickasaw Nation Seal - Mold 1
This is a part I worked on last year which was a replica of an original part on the Chickasaw nations HQ in Oklahoma. The part was finally carved in HDU foam and here you can see the mold material being peeled off the original.
Chickasaw Nation Seal - Mold 2
This shows the finished mold taken from the master of the seal. This is made from material supplied by Smooth On - see link for more info. The master was cut and mold made by Doug Stickland of Superior Signs in Ada Oklahoma.

Chickasaw Nation Seal - Mold 3
This image shows the final manufactured Chickasaw Nation Seal which has been cast using cold molding material. You mix a catalyst with the material and add metal powder which sets and you peel the mold off. With some buffing it makes a realistic looking cast metal part. A big thanks to Doug Stickland of Superior Sign in Ada Oklahome for the photos of this and the mold.
Love Birds
This design was created from a number of images combining elements of each to make the finished part. I was happy with how it came together but at the start of the project I was concerned about the mix of styles involved. A variation of this will be available in the near future on the Vector Art 3D website.
Eagle Model
This was a model created from a customers design. It is part realistic and part stylised. The feather pattern is as per the original image and used the relief paste function in ArtCAM Pro to make it as efficient as possible.
Mexican Flag Eagle Emblem
This design is the emblem from the middle of the Mexican flag. There are a lot of different elements in the design some of which are pretty abstract for a 3D model. I tried to keep all the detail from the original image and make a pleasing transition on the 3D. The end resuly came out well and I really like the texture on the belly of the snake.

Family Crest
This actual design on the shield for this model was simple. The complex part was building the helmet and the flowing flourishes around the design. We have worked on a few of these now and they always prove to be challenging to get the flow of the design but are interesting to create.
